My name is Cole, Ive been into Volvos for a bit now. Bought a 92 240 5 speed for $800 back near the start of 2020. It had around 320k miles when I first got a hold of it, now its up to 355k and its never given me any major problems. Its only left me stranded once or twice, once because of the alternator ground wire and another time because the cam sensor was worn to hell. Its been my daily up till spring of last year. Still been driving it at least once a week. I just bought a one owner 91 240 5 speed 165k miles for parts today. Gave em $500 for it and he towed it where I needed it to be. The interior is mint and it has no rust. The engine seems to be alright it turns easy by hand. Only problem with it is it needs a new flywheel, I got it to turn over for a bit before the starter stopped catching. It came with a bunch of parts in the trunk including a good flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, new tail lights, lots of trim pieces for the exterior. I dont plan on making it roadworthy I just wanna have something I can pull parts off of. Did I do good spending $500 for a parts car?? On the left is the 92 on the right is the 91.
