hey guys, just signed up here because i was just handed down a 1998 s70 T5 (5 speed also) =) . It not in the best shape because my uncle owned it for all previous 150,xxx miles and didnt abuse it but just didnt maintain it at all. Its my first volvo ever, im a bmw or muscle car lover but im gonna stick with it for a while and juice it up a little. im only 17 so if any one has any advice or what-not or just wanna say hi, get at me! peace out

You have a T5 meaning you have a turbo also meaning you have the HPT engine. High Pressure Turbo. You have good power and potential for more power.

 

haha yeah i make the turbo purr everyone once and a while. As soon as i got it i replaced all the spark plugs, the belt and changed the oil. im still debating whether to put some performace stuff into it because it has like 160,xxx although it does have a powerful stock engine
