As for your V70, be sure to follow scheduled maintenance, especially for the timing belt & its pulleys & tensioner; replace them at every 70,000 miles/112,000 kms or 5 years.

Thankyou all for the welcome, much appreciated.The timing belt was done on my car, but they didnt do the tensioner, what NUMPTIES, lol.so everything went bang, and they had to rebuild it for my mate, who owned it at the time, and the engine is now guaranteed, and running sweet,and i bought it for a song a week later. ha ha. thanks all.
