Hello all, my names John. a new member from wales uk. looks an interesting site, I drive a 1998 volvo v70. And i love volvos,but there again why not.they are lush. lookin forward to reading posts on here. cheers John.

Welcome to the forum, I hope you find it helpful.

As for your V70, be sure to follow scheduled maintenance, especially for the timing belt & its pulleys & tensioner; replace them at every 70,000 miles/112,000 kms or 5 years.

Thankyou all for the welcome, much appreciated.The timing belt was done on my car, but they didnt do the tensioner, what NUMPTIES, lol.so everything went bang, and they had to rebuild it for my mate, who owned it at the time, and the engine is now guaranteed, and running sweet,and i bought it for a song a week later. ha ha. thanks all. John.
