Hi.
just beccame a volvo owner 2 days ago and while searching for parts I came across a link for your forum. Signed up today. I am the owner of a 1988 Volvo 760 Turbo w/Intercooler. Car has 123,000+ miles but runs great. Definately looking to keep it running for as long as I can, so I'm sure you'll see more of me posting questions.
I can say I like that this car will never rust (or so I was told).

Hi David, all cars will rust, even plastic Saturns. 
I had a '87 740 GLE that I ended up putting over 400,000 miles on so that car hasn't even gotten started. Heck, I have over 200,000 on my '95.
I really liked my 740, very low maintenance car with almost no repair bills.
