Hello, just became a member and new owner of a new child. Bought a 1990 240 wagon (blue) after had been interested in them for years. Girlfriend and her family had a bunch of Volvo's, so I finally got mine a couple months ago. Then she broke up with me 1 week ago! Well...guess what won't leave me...my 240! Bought it from a 25 y.o. who had it in his family for years. Odo stopped working at 250k, probably has 300k on it.

Already posted w/ a question about the back glass and got some great responses in 1 hour! Amazing community!

I never had the chance to take care of my own car (always lived in apartments) but not have a situation where I can have space to work on them...so I'm excited to care and improve my baby blue! It'll need a new rear window and new front pass. fender which is rotted...but other than the the body is rust free.
