Glad to have found y'all....
My wife and I are the new owners of a 98 V70 with 113K that was handed down in our family. The brakes were shot, the ABS light was on, and the Check Engine light was on when we got it about a month ago.
With help from you all I was able to replace the ABS module (Midwest) and the ABS system is working now. I also got the CE light to go off after replacing the rotten rubber vacuum hoses above the fuel filter underneath the car.
I've installed new rotors and pads, new struts, new rear shocks, cap, rotor, wires and plugs, transmission drain and fill x3, engine stabilizer (IPD USA), and liftgate struts. I plan on replacing the stereo and doing a liftgate panel repair and a PCV system replacement in the near future.
This is our first Volvo and I really like the way it drives...just seems like a really good, solid car. Thanks for all the help!!
