Hi, Introducing myself. I just purchased my first volvo on Tuesday. It's a 1998 V70. So far I'm loving it, even though it needs some things done to it. It's just a lovely wagonFrom what i've already been reading here, I'm glad I went with the '98 and not anything newer.Just wanted to say hi. And thought I'd post a picture of my baby on the day i got her.

I'm next door to you in Plymouth and have a 2007 V50 and a 2008 S40. Our Volvos seem right at home in the snow! I had a 2008 V70 as a loaner for three days last week while my S40 was in the shop and really loved the car. Lots of luck with your 1998 V70.
