New member from the Netherlands
Greetings from beside a Sea wall,
I just bought a V70 2.5 v10 Luxury, 258.000km and an additional LPG gas tank. I'm no Mechanic, just a Fan.

RE: New member from the Netherlands
Goedemiddag,
Mijn naam is JPN.
Welcome to the club!
A nice Volvo you have got. Following the scheduled maintenance is the best way to keeping a Volvo going strong for a long time.
I used to work on KLM’s B747-400C at O’Hare airport in Chicago. I still see them at NRT in Japan (PH-BFX registrations).
Go over to the V70 forum for technical questions.
Good luck,
JPN

Dynamo (Alternator) Volvo 440 1997
Hi all, this afternoon on the highway I noticed my speedometer and all others were'nt working, faint light from battery pic. 1 minute later car stopped engine.
Any idea if this could be the dynamo (alternator) or something more serious?
I had it towed to a garage, but as it's weekend will not know untill Monday. I'm almost sure it's not just a junk battery, only 8 months old. Hope it's not the belt!
141000 km only and belt replaced 2 years ago, not many kms driven. Hope to find some answers here from the conaisseurs...
Thanks in advance.
