New member from the Netherlands introducing himself
Just registered after i found this forum by searching a thread on Google. My name is Louis, married with Wendy, living and working in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and father of 2 daughters an 2 sons,so life´s busy over here:-)
My car: a 850 GLT from 1993, black stone 019, 340.000 kms and still going strong..
Wendy's car: a 850 from 1996, white 189, 265.000 kms, she don't complain so i guess she likes the car very much..
Browsing the topics, i think i'll be around here much, the info i found till now is very usefull to me.
I hope that my English is understandable and readable...

It depends on the car ,i think(my 850 is manual transmission) and your experience in snow, the S60 is in my option a safe car in any weather type.
I think driving in snow is fun with a Volvo : my car seems to be "glued" on the road, very stable, less risk of breakouts..
An example of a 850 short drift in the snow is over here: volvo 850 "sladd" - YouTube
