howdy to anyone taking the time to read this! My name is Tyler and I live in southwestern MN. I do not yet own a Volvo but have found an older 240dl sitting with a bunch of junk cars in the local town of Ivanhoe and have talked to the owner who is selling it. I dont know any specifics of the car as of yet. It appears to be of mid to late 80's vintage. The owner has told me that it was at one point turbo but the turbo blew so they changed it to NA and that reverse went out on the transmission (he had personally replaced it 3 times and it always went out again). The license plates have Nov. of 2005 tabs on them, so it has been parked there for a while. I will be talking to him about specifics like the year it was made and how much he wants to sell it for. If anyone has any idea about how much i should offer him (i realize this will be hard without many of the specifics) that would be awesome! thanks for reading and for any future advice i receive from all of you.
