I recently picked up a 2013 S60 R Design with the Polestar optimization on it on CPO with only 33k on it here in Salt Lake City, Utah. It's the second Volvo I've owned too. About 3 years ago I had a 2011 C30 R Design with the Polestar optimization on it. It was a really fun car and I absolutely loved it, but it didn't work in snowy West Michigan where I lived at the time. It got traded in for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma. However, ever since getting rid of it I've been wanting to get back into a Volvo because they just drive so nice and I really like the Swedish styling. Now that I live in the Salt Lake Valley area where we don't get a ton of snow (it's all in the mountains), I figured I'd search around and get in another Volvo.
I was originally going to pick up a 2015 V60 Cross Country, but I didn't think I'd be happy with a non-R Design car. One happen to pop up at the local dealer and after a little negotiating I drove away with it. They did have a '15 S60 R Design, but unfortunately it was a little more than I really wanted to spend. Regardless though, I love the S60 I picked up but it's in serious need of some upgrades, mainly better tires. The Pirelli all-seasons aren't great for spirited canyon driving. I'll get that sorted in the spring though.
