Currently own a 2005 XC70. Bought as a lease return 18 months ago with 50K miles, now has 76K.

Previously owned a 1985 740GLE wagon for 10 years. Bought from L&M motors (now defunct) with 144K sold at 198K.

 

Welcome to the forum. That is a nice upgrade but i bet in some ways, you miss the old wagon.

 

For one thing the '85 was better on gas ... plus way cheaper to repair. For example, my wife just tore the front bumper cover of the XC70 today which is a major unplanned for expense to fix. On the '85, no such worries. That bumper could stop a runaway Mack truck!
