Hello, my name is Alex and I have been a Volvo nut for about 6 years now. My first car was a 86 240 sedan, AT, n/a that i got for free from my sisters now husband. It had random starting issues which left me stranded a few times as a new driver that really urged me to learn how to fix it* which i did i put alot of work into that thing. kept that car up for a couple years or so then crashed it. My next car to replace that was a 91 240 sedan, AT, n/a i got for 1000. a kid had owned it and beaten on it but i fixed her up and had that one for about 4 years. life then threw obstacles all around so i didnt have the time i had before to work on my baby so it got a little neglected and i finally had to sell it for cheap to someone that had the time and money to keep it going. ended up getting crushed* i now have a 98 jeep wrangler, MT, 3" lift with 32s with a prof. remanned 2.5L which now has about 15000 miles on it, not my DD so ill probly have that thing til i die lol. i drive my gf and i to wrk in her 02 civic she got for free from her mom, so those are the 2 vehicles im currently able to work on. by the end of this summer tho, im hoping to get my hands on a cheap 87-89 volvo 740 sedan that needs work and start a new project, to start id like to get a low mile NA 93 b230 and +T it..but also i get veryyy excited when i read about peoples 5.0 swap!! ive been creeping around craigslist and forums for a long time now looking for deals and reading about different swaps people are doing nowadays, needless to say ive got Volvo fever again like a *****!!
