Hello everyone!
I just bought a 1990 740 wagon. Have to say i love this car. Did research before buying, found this website & have to say i was sold on buying a Volvo. The guy took good care of her and was honest about the quirks. It has 234000 miles on it & just needs some TLC. Has anyone changed the blower motor on 1 of these?
2 days after i bought the heat stopped blowing. I replaced the fuse but it just blew again. I have some mechanical skill but don't want to open a can of worms. Looks & sounds easy compared to the 240's, is that true? The shop wants $350
to fix it but the motor is only 25.00 at the auto parts store. Any advice or comments will be greatly appreciated!
