Hello all... I am in UK with my recent purchase of a 1998 V70 R AWD... got a bit of a rumble on turning... don't think it is the steering but poss the AWD... is this a normal problem on a 72K miles vehicle... Mark

 

Does the noise come when you are turned all the way?
Have you tried lubbing the steering stops yet?

 

Comes on under gentle turning at low speeds... havent attended to the steering stops?.. Went to local dealership yesterday who said that the middle support bearing on the rear wheel drive/propshaft was worn... they believe this could be thecause and are prepared to repair under warranty so we shall see, thanks for you interest, mark
