Default New S60R owner in Lexington, Ky.

Hey guys, been lurking here and a couple other Volvo forums for a bit. After finally finding the right car for me which ended up being my first Volvo I decided to take a bit more advantage of the wealth of knowledge on this and another forum.

Any way the car is a 2007 S60R GT. Decided against the manual, I know boo right? Haha...the auto is better for me in the city and this isn't a car I plan on racing by any means. The car is bone stock from what I can tell and in pretty good shape. It has about 53,000 miles on it. I plan on doing a transmission flush and "EBD" removal pretty soon.

That's probably enough for now but if anyone has questions or comments fire away!

Welcome to VF Bryant. I had an 04 S60R and I have to say, I did love it. I ended up trading it in though for a subaru and I do miss it from time to time. Good luck with it and it will definitely treat you well.

Nice. Years back I test drove one, 04 I think, and loved it. The salesman had me drive around a cloverleaf exit and kept yelling "faster, faster". As always with Volvo, loved the seats. But thought the leather in the "R" was just outstanding for an under $50k vehicle. Wound up getting an XJR (bigger) but the S60R was a favorite.

Beautifule car. I considered a S60R when I bought my CTS-V but the LSx engine is just so easy to make power I went with the Caddy. I was born and raised in LexVegas but after many moves around the nation I now reside in Bardstown and work in DuhVille.

jks2-I was just down in Etown Sunday to help my mom pack up (she's moving to Wisconsin.) BG parkway can be fun..never seen many police on it. Found out my car goes from 80-110 pretty quick! Haha.

MauiV-If I had the choice between my car and a new CTS-V I'm not sure this is the car I would have ended up with. Never driven one but it has all the ingredients for a good time!

Surprisingly enough I've already ran into one R owner here in town. His name's Morgan, was driving this V70R.
