I just purchased a 2007 black S60R and, so far, the car's working great. I picked it up with 21 miles on it a week ago and have since put about 400 miles on it. The car has the "gobi sand" colored leather interior and came with the optional auto "geartronic" transmission, HU-850 audio system, rear parking assist,the "climate" package, and the 18" Pegasus 5-spoke wheels.

About the only complaints I have so far is there seems to be an excees of brake dust accumlating on the wheels and the turning radius is wider than I'm accustomed to. From what I read here, both of these are fairly common complaints. So far... no other issues.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to participating on this forum. I'm not mechanically inclined, but I figure I'll pick up a few things here to help me take car of my new car.

 

congrats. there arent too many members here. i posted for the first time here last night asking a few questions. but no reply. i also own a bmw and visit bimmerforums.com everyday. i remember the first time i posted there my thread turned into 4 pages by the second day........
