Hi There.

I just bought a me a new, to me, 1998 Volvo v70 FWD Auto(canada). I've always wanted a boxy wagon. I was looking for a vehicle to replace my jetta and came across this one and looked like a good deal. I don't know much about volvos and I heard some mixed reviews but i've always though the older one were reliable. the lady I bough it from took really good care of it and did a whole bunch of work 4 months ago with all the receipts.

i have couple question. since i have a hard time finding info on the car.

-What engine size\HP do i have, is it turbo and do i use premium gas? i think my car model is a base one.
-On the auto tranny their is the OD button on the side. i can't feel the diference of on\off when i push it. is their a light coming on in the dash when on?
-The hatch door does not stay open anymore. is there a way to fix this or buy new spring of something?


I only drove it like 10km. it's parked in the garage until I get it insured
