Hi I am a new Volvo owner and found these boards while researching a OID error code on my XC70. Just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for a great Volvo resource. I wish I had found this site sooner as it might have saved me a few headaches and helped me a choose a model year in the XC70 that the bugs had already been worked out of (ie 2003 and later).

I owned and a 1970 Volvo 164 years agos and did most of my own repairs and maintenance so am not completely new to Volvo but as with all cars a lot has changed since 1970, some good, some not so good.

I really like the XC70 so far but have already had to troubleshoot a couple of issues first was a noise and vibration caused by the driveshaft for the AWD, removed it and made it a FWD for the time being anyhow. Now in the middle of locating the cause of a P0455 Evap system leak and am glad I stumbled across this forum.
