New Volvo owner and brain picker.
Just a post to say "Hey!".
We just bought a '02 C70 convertible with 104,988 miles. Thanks to the knowledgeable folks on here I convinced the dealer to change the cam belt, idlers, and water pump as part of the deal. He won't deduct the price but he said they would do it for $300. Which seems really cheap and I intend to check it out pretty closely when we pick it up.
Everything works and looks good. The top looks almost new and works fine, and seals well. Some paint needs to fixed around the front grill but that shouldn't be too bad. All in all it looks to be a pretty good car. Let's just hope it stays that way.
