Hello Volvo lovers. Im a new Volvo 850 GLT wagon owner, got it for $500, I was told it needed a valve job so...I pulled the whole engine. I figured at 195k why rebuild the head and not the whole engine. I'm building the car for my wife to replace her 87 Audi 5000..Ya this isn't my first 5 cylinder ...She said she wanted something with a little more motor, so thats when I decided to make this a turbo project. Now i'm traditionally a "Honda Guy" but for $500 I couldn't turn the car down. Since I have started wrenching on this Sweede, I have found a new love. The engineering behind everything in this car amazes me, from the 2 piece block to the heavy duty sub-framed front end.
This is my first Volvo turbo build so please follow this thread and leave ANY advice or pointers you may have. Thanks everyone.

I too, am a Honda guy as well as Volvo. The two mfgs have many things in common.
