I just yesterday became a Volvo owner. My friend had this 1964 Volvo 122 4 Door in his friends garage for the past 7 years. Before that he bought it and drove it around a little. He got a hold of me and was wondering if I could pick up his Volvo and see if I can get it going again for him. Well a month went by and when he picked it up from storage, he realized it was a bigger project than he wanted to take on. He said he was going to take it to the crusher so I rescued it.

I winched this old volvo onto the trailer and hauled it 2hrs back home. Yesterday I got it to start, today I drained the old gas out of it and put fresh in. After a while of pouring gas into the dual carbs via pop bottle, it wouldn't run on its own. I made a mini gas can out of a pop bottle and a valve stem, hooked the fuel hose to it and drove it off the trailer. So I still have figure out how to get it to suck up its own gas, fix a couple brake lines, and go threw the wiring to get everything to work again. After all that, I can at least move it around and possibly drive some. Oh an it also has AC which appears to be aftermarket. The dash unit and ac core is installed but the compressor is in the trunk.
