New to Volvos (1989 760 Turbo Intercooler)
I've recently acquired a 1989 760 Turbo w/ 180k miles on it as a 3rd car. It seems like a very well made car. Excellent garage-kept, well-maintained car, but has had some issues. The first, most troublesome, was the intermittent stalling that was ultimately solved by replacing the main fuel pump & FP relay.
Most recently, lighting problems front & rear. Most T/S problems traced to poor electrical contacts.
Now, since I've lost THREE front corner/ turn signal lamp assemblies (they just fall out while driving), my question is: where can I find the bulb sockets and intermediate connector to the wiring harness??? Then, is there a better way to secure the housings, rather than what appears to be a simple friction-fit? Should I use RTV in the tab mounts, or is there a proper way to secure them that I am missing?
Thanks in advance for suggestions.
