Hello all, first time Volvo owner and residing in Minnesota. I recently purchased an '02 S60 2.5T. This site has already been very helpful during my "acclimation" period. Just simple questions like, why is my AC fan on 25 min after I drive it, at first I thought it was a problem, but instead just one more of the well thought out features of my new (to me) Volvo. I've read of several issues with the S60, but most sound like they are on the 01 models and most of the major bugs have been worked out. I feel great about my purchase, love all of the features Volvos have to offer. Hopefully my post in the future will be more accolades, and not problems!

 

I have a freind who owns a 2001 S60 2.5T and it is a awesome car! I love everything about the car! the styling and everything is just amazing! Not to metion pretty Fast. I dont know what to say about your problem though, i dont kno much about Volvos yet but i am learning. I just had to say that i love your car and i am sure that somebody on here has a good answer to your problem.

Welcome, I have a 01 S40 and the AC fan runs after i turn car off, I was a little concerned at first too and I checked out the forum and found that is a normal thing. Anyway, hope we can be of help here and remeber Tech is a great resource. I think he has worked on every Volvo ever made. I have not been able to stump him yet.

 

Welcome first of all.

If the fan inside the car for the A/C is running later after you turn the car off that is normal.
It comes on and runs to dry the evaperator so it won't grow mildew on it.
