Default Newbie S60 R owner

Hi all!! i am glad to join the forum now as a new S60 R owner coming from a C70. I have always loved this car and saw a great deal on a R. had to move on it. I am slightly mechanically inclined(if that makes sense), but i am having an issue with my E-Brake. when i was at my buddies house i parked on his incline driveway, pulled the E-brake and it rolled with a little squeak. does the EB just need adjusting or do i have another issue??

thanks

Love the S60 R. Welcome. Can't help you on the e-brake, but others will.

Welcome to the forum.

As long as the shifter is in P-(auto) or 1-(manual), the car should stay still (but of course using the E-brake is almost a must). However, as to the E-brakes they either need adjustment or the shoes may need to be replaced if abused by the previous owner.

Hop over to the S60 forum for further technical questions.

Good luck,

JPN
