Hi. Just joined. I don't own a Volvo, but I'm looking for a solid used one as a second family car. This seemed like a good place to start reading up.

Welcome! [sm=badbadbad.gif] The people here have helped me a lot with my car. This is an excellent resource for anything pertaining to Volvo. There are even people on here that can tell you what is wrong with your car even if you say oh it sounds like a French Horn, and they will know what you are talking about. LOL These guys are great!

 

hi guys new here am the proud owner of a volvo s40 2.0se it may only be a 96 model but i love it.

if i could afford a newer one then i would upgrade but thats wot i got for now.

i have had a look around and there are some similar posts but not quite with the right info for me so if any one can help i would appreciate it. i need someone to post a pic of a similar engine bay pointin me in the right direction to locate the starter motor as for the life of me i can't see it yes this may seem stupid but i have a basic knowlege of engines and can do the basics just sometimes need a little guidence. cheers in advance
