Default Newbie from Tennessee

Hello to all. I'm a first-time Volvo owner having pruchased one just a few hours ago. I've been looking around for a reliable car to take over daily driving duties in order to keep the mileage low on my Crossfire SRT6.

After some online searching a happened upon an '05 S40 T5 with 121K miles for a great price. The seller didn't want to spend big money to replace a bad motor mount, alternator, nor spring for the timing belt swap that's due. The car is in very good shape otherwise, and she accepted my offer.

Anyway, I've parked the Volvo in my garage and plan to start work on it as soon as the parts arrive. First impressions are this is a fantastic car.

By the way, could someone share a link to a downloadable PDF of the service / repair manual?

Thanks,
Anthony

Here's the S40 service manual for the '96 through Mar '04 in case someone needs it:
Haynes Volvo S40 V40 manual.pdf | Uloz.to

I'm still on the hunt for the manual the covers the April '04 through '07 S40.

Hi and welcome to the site.

Thanks for the picture, but what's the deal with the tow ring out the front of the car?

Thanks. The seller had the car towed to her home from the dealership due to the battery being drained. I removed it after the photo was taken.

Here's a few shots after giving it a bath.

Gorgeous car! I've always admired Volvo's styling. Also very clean Crossfire! Not too often I see any SRT6's around these parts.

Thank you very much! Hopefully I'll have the Volvo back on the road this weekend.
