Got my 1st Volvo last week. A 1999 S70 base with 80k miles. Hail damaged a bit but not to bad.

It runs and drives good but still a few things to fix on it.

Right out of the gate it needed the throttle body so I ordered the Xemodex and put it on there. That got it running.

I'm loving the gas mileage it's getting and the way it handles.

I'm having rabbit ears in this old a car. I'm having regrets about getting this old a car for my daily driver (but I swear 1999 doesn't seem like 12 years ago) yet it is fun and I'm really starting to like the car.

You mean the car in general or the hail damage? You can't really see the hail damage that much from 10' away. Certain angles it looks like a new car and other angles it looks like a black golf ball. Almost like one of those magical paint jobs where it's a different color depending on light and angle, only with hail.

Cool Jay I'm in Knoxville as well. If you know of a place that's got some used parts that would work on an S70 let me know please.
