Long time lurker, finally decided to join. I bought a 1998 V70 GLT from my neighbor last year for $400, the day it was headed to the junk yard to be crushed. It had been hit on the driver front quarter by a drunk pizza delivery girl. I removed the damaged strut and smashed fender, and replaced the suspension with coilovers the day I brought it home. I've done a few mods to it so far. Swapped in a 16t, 2.5" exhaust, MBC, and some solid engine mounts, aside from a complete stage 0. I ended up melting a piston in the 2.4, so I recently purchased a used B5234T3 with 20k on it. I'm currently in the process of freshening that engine up, while trying to hunt down a full 5 speed swap to throw on it before reinstalling. This is my first Volvo, and I am absolutely in love with it. Here's a few random crummy pictures of the car. I haven't had the opportunity to get any good pictures of it, but will once it's back together.

I have big plans for this car, although I can't seem to find any places local to me that cater to Volvos. So far, everything I've needed for it has come from FCP Groton or IPD. I don't mind buying online, I'm just impatient!
