Newbie "Volvo virgin"

Thanx, Havn't really thought much about mods so far, bought the car as a non runner, the lady i bought it from says it over heated and she immediately shut it down, bought the car on high hopes and dreams hoping that its only a head gasket and some cylinder head engineering, but like i said high hopes, ended up with a motor that burnt a hole in No2 piston warped the head and melted plastics and breather etc etc, Replaced the B4204T engine with a secondhand B4194T with the repaired B4204T vvt head, the bolt holes on the 1.9 head for the cam top cover where basically all stripped.
Now for the fun and games as she does not want to fire to life, got spark (removed all four plugs and connected coils and leads, all good, nice fat blue sparks), got fuel + pressure (not checked with a gauge though, but it squirts a helluva lot) and cranks beautifully but nothing, waiting for the weekend to go play again, want to whip out injectors with rail and make sure that the injectors are spraying, had my wife tow me with my van got it to start but sounds fuel starved, accelerator flat footed only goes up to 3K and goes "gwaaaaaaap" + management light stays lit, ordered a ELM327 code reader that will be here before the weekend to help guide to possible problems
