I am looking for a car without payments and ran across a 1987 Volvo Wagon. I am not sure the class yet. I can't find any Kelly Blue Book listings on it because of the year. Is this a good vehicle? I have a small child and need to be safe. Thanks for any help.

 

Are they selling it or giving it away? If you need it for daily transportation have a mechanic check it out.

 

More information would help. Mileage, repair & maintenance history, etc. Yes it could be a good car if it has been taken care of and no it could be a money pit if it hasn't. As far as safety, it is a Volvo so there is nothing safer. How much are they asking? +1 on rspi's suggestion
