Default possibly going to purchase '91 940

Tomorrow I am going to look at a '91 940 turbo. 310,000 miles, guy says all gaskets have been replaced a couple times (?), timing belts, the motor sounds strong, no rust (extremly clean outside), heated seats dont work, nor does sunroof, new tires, asking $1400. I'm going to take it to a mechanic friend of mine tomorrow and check it over more indepth, even if it is what he say's I'm going to start my bidding at $800. Thoughts?

If there's no rust and its mechanically fairly sound then that price sounds pretty good. I've been looking for something similiar but I don't think the 940's came with a 5 speed, I could be wrong but I've never seen a stick in them so that's the only reason I stay with my old 240.

I just picked up a 740 GL wagon with a five speed w/ 190k miles. Of course, the clutch needs replacing, but the rest of the car is pretty much in great shape. So, it's possible to find one. I imagine that the 940 was also available with a manual transmission.

Try autotrader, which is where I found mine.
