Radio

Hey folks! New here to the Volvo world. Bought a S40 for my daughters first car. Only problem I have is the radio doesn't turn off when I turn the ignition off and open the door. Scanning through the owners manuel didn't help. Anyone have this issue or k ow how to fix?
