Default Researching Wagons

Hello all..Joined the forum to learn about V70 and or 850 wagons.

Hope to find something from 96-00 turbo and well maintained. Preferably with the rear facing 3 row for the kids.

Most like the '95 through '98 better due to the simple service points of the fuel and ignition points.

Default Beware of 1999 & newer

I concur with rspi, the 1995-1998 cars are the gems. I recommend ONLY the turbo (T5, T-5R, 850R) cars. Economy is pretty much identical (unless boosting) but they are a different car to drive. I love mine!

Thanks for the tips! I checked out your youtube vid before I found this forum (very cool that you put that together BTW)

I want to find a nice 2wd but I keep finding the AWD models around here. I found a really nice 98 V70r for a fair price, but I am afraid of the AWD issues that I read about. The owner claims he has a new transmission done by Volvo specialist and the AWD works as it should. TB and PVC recently serviced. Its nice inside and out, and has the 3rd row seat I need. Should I even consider this car? I can't seem to find any decent 2wd ones around here.
