Default s 60 issues

Hi, first time here,in fact the first time anywhere, so if I am in the wrong place for intro I appoligse but here are the issues I am having and hope to get some idea on fixes.
I recently took ownership of a volvo s 60 and am having some issues with it so here goes hope you all have a coffee to hand.
When I bought the car the stiching on the drivers seat, down the edge at the door side was open so I decided to stich it up,prior to this I had the occasional,''prevented from starting try again'',and ''alarm requires service''once I had stiched up the seat I now get ''srs urgent service required''and an orange triangle.I tried to reset it with holding the trip button and all that achieved was to turn the triangle to red, nothing else has changed it still starts but how do I get rid of the red triangle which is obviouly false as it only went red when I mucked about with it but I have no confidance in going anywhere in case it fails to start.
another thing is it has 17 inch wheels and I am suspicious that they should be 16inch as I am sure they are rubbing on a full lock.
Iknow its a long list but any help would be appreciated as I am scared to try any more experiments in case I make things worse so thanks for reading and any input.
p.s. more to come

Hi jpcol Welcome.
I had a similar thing happen to me on my S60 and I had to get the "SRS" code reset using a code reader that will read Airbag codes. (the cheap readers will not read airbag codes). Most local service shops will have scanners that will do the job. (they did it free for me)
Regarding the Wheel rubbing maybe a steering stop limiter might help if you don't have one installed already. similar to the attached link below. Hope this help.

Your car can run 19 inch rims with the right suspension. 17's are stock on a lot of them. If they're rubbing, check your struts/springs/suspension entirely. Bushings tend to go on p2 cars, especially in control arms/swaybar links/top and bottom torque mounts. I had to buy a VOLVO tool WITH obd to clear the airbag code (80 bucks on amazon) - the code caused no issue over 100,000 miles before that. Drove it with the triangle with no problem - passed 3 inspections with it on.
