Default S40 Turbo modificatiion questions

I hope someone out there can help....

I have a 2000 S40 and absolutly love it. But I am a Honda fan and have raced scca for a few years and am looking for more power in my beloved Volvo. My 1988 Honda Crx currently has more power and thats just not right (175 vs 160hp). I am new to the whole low pressure turbo idea? Does it have to be low pressure? Can I install an aftermarket BOV and bump it up even 1 or 2 psi? I would like to chip it as well; is there anything I should be aware of as far as problems, or warnings? I'm not looking for 400 hp or anything, (but it would be nice) Just a 100hp boost or close. any performance ideas for this car would be welcome. (engine, exhaust, brakes, suspension, etc...) Thanks in advance!

Matt
