I have a 2008 S80 that has radio issues. When I first start the car the radio will work for 5-10 seconds then shut off. It flickers on and off for about 30 minutes then it will start working. Once it starts working, it works great and doesn't stop until I turn the car off. It seems to take longer to start working the colder it is out. I use a private mechanic who worked for Volvo for years and he's never seen this. I went to a Volvo dealership and they said I needed a software upgrade. So I took it in and actually got 2 upgrades for $320 and that didn't fix it. I bought the car from a wholesaler and he said the radio problem was from the wire going into the amp under the passenger seat. Anyone have any ideas??
