"soon to purchase" Volvo - insight needed

Joined the forum to soak up information about Volvo cars...touted as very safe and reliable.

Looking to buy a certified used Volvo ...between 10,000 - 15,000.

Several have popped up on the volvo usa website...around $14,995 w/ 45,000 - 70,000 miles....

Is there one model that is more reliable than others?

Not really, if you are looking at a model that has been out for a number of years. It really depends on your needs and wants, whether you need to pull a trailer (XC 90) or haul around a bunch of people (XC 70, V70, V50) or your looking for more luxury (S 80) or sportiness (S60, S40, C30). Define your needs and then research the forums to see what peoples experiences have been.
