south of the equator

Hi all, just joined and have a (tongue in cheek) question. Does all the advice given on these forums apply to V70 2.5l Volvos driven in areas 5000 kilometres south of the equator in Australia?

Predominately USA or Canada members so much is related to the North American Volvo market.
Much is still applicable to all Volvo's manufactured of course.
