Default Turbo Charging Volvo S80 4.4L

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum. I just purchase a 2007 Volvo S80 4.4L at a good price. $6850 with 85k. Couldn't be more happy. Now I know the risks and precautions to turbo charging a vehicle such as this. They dont seem to make a turbo charging kit for this vehicle. I know some will reply and say, "well they don't make a kit for for a reason(s)) lol Ether way it's something I would like to look into and have done. I was wondering if anybody knew of a kit that is available or if a turbo from a different model will fit on the 2007 S80 V8 4.4l. Or even perhaps a supercharging kit. I look for forward to your replies and am happy to be apart of the Volvo world and forum.

Thank you,

Bob

To add a turbo to the 4.4 Yamaha engine is not a problem, tuning it is the main problem, supercharger might be easier

Okay thank you for the input. I decided I'll keep it simple by at least doing the intake, exhaust and a tune. Would you happen to know the inlet and outlet size of the stock Mufflers?

Thank you,

Bob
