Default 91 Volvo 240 Charging Problem. Voltage low when loaded

So I have a new battery and a new alternator (this is the second one). The Voltage is 14.00 when there is no load on it. However when I turn on the lights and voltage drops to 12.56. And when I turn off the lights the voltage will go back up to 14. Now all the grounds look good, and the wires look good as well. Im stumped at this point. And ideas???

Check your ground from alternator to the engine block.I've seen the wire almost broke into, with maybe one or two strands holding it in the connector. If it checks out ok, read this post https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-240-740-940-12/charging-system-problem-totally-perplexed-33784/
If that checks out ok,I would remove the alternator and have it load tested.

All the wires look good. I was talking to a few guys at work, and they all think that it is the fact that I got a remaned alternator, even though this is the second one. They all said never buy a reman one.

Some auto parts stores can test your alternator in the car. I know AutoZone does. Take your car to them and see if the alternator is still good.

Sounds like the regulator part of the alternator.
