Hello all.
This seems to be a common issue and I'm slowly going insane.
I'm getting turbo surge when slowly accelerating making the car jog forward. It also makes a sucking/choking sound when this happens. When I put my foot down the the surging goes and the turbo kicks in. A loud whistling noise then kicks in (no smoke at all).
Once it hits 3000rpm the turbo completely drops out and lose power.
After about 5 minutes of this the turbo cuts out completely and the car runs on engine power only (no boost).
​​​Which makes it very slow. I can still hit above 4000rpm when this happens (so no limp mode).
I have checked all hoses and pipes and haven't yet found a split. Have also checked the small pressure sensor hoses and all seems well.
I have replaced DPF, Turbo pressure sensors (there are 2), MAF sensor and Manifold Pressure Sensor.
This has done absolutely nothing.
What am I missing??
