Hi,
My anti skid abs service required light is on and my injectors have died. I went to Volvo and had all 4 injectors replaced and coded on my 2011 Volvo C30 Drive 1.6d. The Anti Skid light is still on(the injectors were not the cause). I have now scanned the codes and found this is due to an open circuit fault on the rear ABS sensor. I have replaced the sensor and the issue has persisted, I have also swapped the sensors around and the fault is still present. All codes have been cleared and it is a hard fault.
I have used a multimeter and found that the left side has no voltage or resistance although the right side is reading 12.5 volts and 8k resistance(to the module) when car is switched off. Both sensors are reading 5k resistance. I have spoken to Volvo and they have said their first course of action would be replacing the module for $1000+
Can anyone help? Do I need to send the module away for a rebuild? or is there an issue with the wiring?
