Have a Volvo D70 in the UK being driven by my longest standing friend for this year.

Can anyone help please.
Car was handed over at Xmas- new Bosch battery installed recently.
Sat Nav will not work
Following displays on screen " Disc cannot be read"?
Screen pops up when Sat Nave remote is operated but no geo-location data or other info.
I think I had this problem once before? Does CD need re-setting/re-programming?

Could it be a fuse?
How would I tell?
Is this possibly caused by change of battery and disconnection?
