Hey everyone, I just bought an amazing clean 2003 Volvo S60 with 120k miles, runs amazing! However it has trouble starting in the mornings, it seems like the gas won't go through, it takes about a minute to start and then runs like a champ! I read maybe a gas relay, has anyone heard of this? I have a lot to learn from this car!!

not likely the fuel pump relay but it may be the fuel pressure regulator. A common cause of long cold start cranking is due to fuel pressure at the rail bleeding off which requires some extra cycles of the fuel pump to build the pressure back up. Typically this can be caused by a torn diaphram in the fuel pressure regulator or less often, a leaky injector. A quick test for the fuel pressure regulator is to pull the vaccuum line off and see if fuel drips out (indicating a torn diaphram).
