I am an attorney practising in Indian courts.
I was engaged by my clients C&S Electric Ltd.
to try to get Volvo to replace a defective XC90 that
was bought on 31st March, 2016 and was reported
to be defective in its air-conditioning, engine, catalytic converter, wiring, sensors and many other
parts which were sought to be rectified but Volvo
failed. So Volvo was requested to replace the
"lemon" within a couple of months of delivery.
There was no response from Volvo.
So my law firm was engaged to issue a legal notice.
Volvo did not respond to our notice.
So we were engaged to file a law suit. No response.
The defective car is lying with Volvo and the latter
opines its inability to rectify but refuses to even
respond to the request for teplacement
