Power window relay fuse pops (fuse12) as soon ans I put the key in and my driver side window of my 92 244 is stuck down. I cant drive my car till I get the window up. I've torn the door panel apart and looked around nothing burnt or weird going on in there but I just need to get my window up. Is there a manual way to do so or any way to get the fuses to stop popping instantly? Where I currently live I cannot do extensive work to my car.

 

the fuse is popping because something is shorted. Check out volvotips.com for a wiring diagram. It could be a chafed wire or the relay itself. I'd start by disconnecting or pulling out the relay then see if the fuse still pops.
