Would it be crazy...
think this over...can I call my brand new (to me) 2000 v70 xc awd something easier...
like...
a 2000 XC70? I understand the difference between the models, but I'm tired of writing all that out! then there's the pain of trying to figure out if there's a space between 70 and xc (v70 xc awd), or no space (v70xc awd). I mean...all XC70's are AWD aren't they? so I would get to omit the AWD all together and it would just be assumed that its AWD. but throwing in that its a 2000, you would automatically know what body style I was talking about!
on the other hand...
Knowing how car forums generally work, everytime I type 2000 XC70 the corrective flaming would be hot and long! then the thread would inevitably be jacked and we would all get waaaay off course.
In short, I just wanted to say hello! My name is Chad, and I am the VERY proud new owner of my first volvo! Its a 2000 XC70 with 150000 miles and its gorgeous! I thought this car was beautiful when I was 18 and it just came out. I've wanted one ever since and now I have a great one! The ride is amazing, the turbo is smooth, and I look forward to a long and frustrating life with my new volvo!
it does leak a little oil, so let the pains of owning a volvo begin!
every time I get a car I want to have a while, I find a great forum for it, and I'm glad I found you guys. seems like a pretty cool place to be with a great knowledge base.
