It wouldn't be worth the time and Money.

If you want to do it right buy a wrecked Turbo car and swap the engine,Trans, wiring,Computer, ETC

Wow man, you are all over the place.

Do you happen to have the 0-60 MPH times for both vehicles (turbo and non-turbo)?

[For reference] [8D]

I take it your saying you want to turbo your N/A? Don't, it takes too much time, money, and proper tuning.

Instead of what TECH said, just sell the N/A and buy a turboed model. Much cheaper and you can do more to them.

WOAH--no no no... [:-]

I mean exactly that--for reference.

I mean I'll probably keep the car for years and do an engine swap WITH SOMETHING MORE POWERFUL like a Ford or Chevy small block engine.
(We're talking 4+ years from now though)

In the short-term I'm using my 740 like normal and I've been looking at getting an 850 or S70 T5/T5R or something similar later on.

Expect to pay a lot to do this and do it right.

I am willing to bet for a good job it will cost you about $3k at least if not more for proper tuning.

See you keep addressing the other stuff I said briefly; why don't you just say you don't have the numbers:

1989 Volvo 740 GLE (auto) 9.6 17.2
1990 Volvo 740 Turbo Wagon 7.8 16.1

Your right I don't have the numbers, never said I did. I didn't answer it for the fact that I didn't know.

My best idea for you is to search the internet, using GOOGLE.

I could whip out a number like 8.3 seconds but hell if I know if it is even close or right.
